The simple is beautiful

.
I believe in the beauty of the simple things in life. A real smile, a tight hug, a sibling’s joke. Those little moments that make us unique and that make our family unique.
.
Your baby birth is also a unique moment for your life and I want you to remember it with all its beauty.

Birth Photography Coverage

.
Probably one of the most thrilling moments of your life deserves to be properly registered.
.
I photograph in a documentary style, so you don’t have to worry about poses or even my presence there. I try to be invisible and register every important moment of your special day. The focus is to register all the beauty and magical that happens during the birth so you can have the most precious memories forever.
.
If it is going to be natural birth, it will start when your labour starts. If it’s going to be a c-section, it will start one hour before it. Plus there is no limit of time and I will be there as long as it takes until at least one hour after your baby is born.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

C-section Birth Photographer London

How many pictures do you deliver?
I think quality is better than quantity. Nobody is happy having 3000 pictures to choose from. And I also think that curatorship is part of the photographer’s work. That’s why I’d rather deliver only the best pictures (but not missing any important moment).
Just so you have an idea, I click around 1500-3000 times during a birth coverage and deliver a gallery with around 50-150 edited pictures, with only the best ones (this is not a predefined number, if there are A LOT I’ll deliver everything that’s important).

.

How long until I receive my photos?
The online gallery will be available to you up to 21 business days after the birth. Although, most of the times I can deliver sooner than that. I always send 1 photo within 24h though.

IMPORTANT INFO

Check with your doctor/midwife
Before anything, you have to check with your midwife/doctor and hospital if it’s ok to have your birth photographed. Most of them don’t have any problems, but it’s good to be sure. Sometimes there’s a limit of people present during the birth, for example. So always check with them first.

.

In the case of a c-section
In the case of a programmed c-section, some hospitals don’t have any issues on having a photographer there, but some have. So, same case, check with them before.
In the case of an emergency c-section, most hospitals don’t allow more than 1 person in the room. If you planned a natural birth and ended up in a c-section (and I am not allowed to be there), I will be photographing anything I can before and after the baby is born.
.
Don’t wait for the last minute
If you want you can sign the contract and make the payment as soon as you like. You should consider that after 35-36 weeks your baby may decide to come, and I will be on call if you have already signed your contract. I start the call period as soon as you pay me.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

TESTIMONIALS

  • Morgana Secco, I do not need to say anything about your work. It is already showed in your words and in every detail that you shoot as NOBODY. This singularity in what you do is for few, but surely you are among them. Thank you for leaving us with such a strong record of this beautiful and true phase, just like your work! I cried and I was moved because on the daily rush we do not really realize how reality is beautifully (im)perfect!!! ❤️❤️❤️

  • We were delighted with Morgana's work, she was spectacular and very professional in everything, exceeded our expectations and was essential to make our moment (pregnancy and childbirth photography) even more magical, as we always dreamed. We love her professionalism and her loving gaze in every moment. Not to mention that the photos were incredible, we were very moved and with the certainty that we made the best choice!

  • I gave this teddy bear as a gift to Jean, right when I met him. I wrote a letter saying I was feeling he would be the father of my children. Then we gave the teddy bear to Lorena, it was the first decoration item of her room. So this picture means a lot to us.
